Is there caffeine in the candy Mike and Ike? I didn't think there was but then someone said there was and I really need to know.

soccerstar replied: "no"

latterdaylady replied: "I wouldn't think there would be since that candy doesn't have any chocolate in it. I bet you could google it and put in something like....ingredients in Mike and Ike candy, see what comes up with that."

sangreal replied: "no, if you look at the ingredients list it would say caffeine, it contains a lot of processed sugar though."

Sugar PIe replied: "NO. only chocolate has caffeine."

michael t replied: "no, but there's a lot of sugar in it, so if you're getting jittery eating them, then i suggest you cut back on the sweets."

GTOWN replied: "No, why would you believe that guy?"

soccerknocker199 replied: "i dont think so but sugar can hype you up a little"

how can you have a good night's sleep when you accidentally took too much caffeine, candy, and sweets.? I am doing a report about this.

consumery replied: "First, turn off the tv and computer and lower the lights... then, a nice relaxing bath followed by a big glass of milk. Good luck."

Does candy have caffeine in it? if some do, can u list some specific candy? and soda has caffeine in it too, right?

littleoblivion replied: "Chocolate has caffeine, except white chocolate. Other candies might, but I'm not sure. Dark sodas, some root beers but not all, and Mt Dew/Jolt/Mello Yello type drinks all caffeine. Sprite, 7-Up, ginger ale, grape/orange/strawberry soda, and other root beers do not. Most of them are labeled either way in very small print. You just have to look closely!"

Do chocolate covered coffee beans work? How much caffeine is in a bean? I just ate a few, and yes I feel a little more awake. I tried looking it up on Google, but have found no hard facts that the candy has caffeine in it, or that they have more caffeine than a regular cup of coffee. Just wondering. Either way, they taste better- being the chocolate lover that I am.

tonno replied: "~Yes, they do. We use them for long over the road drives!~"

Pundit Bandit replied: "Yes they do. It depends on how long they have been roasted. Longer roasting time leaves less caffeine in the bean. It only takes a few ounces to make a whole pot of coffee, so a small handful eaten slowly should give you a good, long caffeine buzz."

Jeep Driver replied: "Don't know how much they have in them but they sure do give me a pick-me-up and I love them"

David H replied: "Basically the caffiene is released during the brewing process, the espresso beans and the chocolate coating have a moderate amount of caffiene. I have know from the information the processor I used to buy them from, they had a note in the boxes, we used to make a mousse with both the beans in the mousse and as a decoration on top of the whipped cream. You would have to eat about 1/3 cup to ingest about the same as 1 good strong cup of coffee."

Do they make Caffeine-Free Chocolate candy etc? I have developed severe Caffeine problems and suffer intense withdrawl a day after consuming caffeine. These withdrawls can be worse then an alcoholic hangover! I have only had 1 or 2 hangovers worse than the worse withdrawl episode.. and the hangovers were over in a day or two, whereas the caffeine withdrawl sometimes took 5 days or more to clear my system. I hated to do it, but have given up my Dr Pepper, Mt Dew, Monster, and other caffeinated drinks, but every so often I might have a candy bar. I have noticed a slight withdrawl from chocolate. Do they make caffeine free chocolate so I don't have to give it up too? This is a real condition, although not doctor diagnosed... I am sure if more people gave up their caffeine for good they would be mostly migraine free like I usually am now. Coffee beans have caffeine too.. but they do make a decaf version. Why wouldn't they be able to do the same with Cocoa?

Drew H replied: "of course, i've heard of it, i'm not sure where to get it...why not just look it up on google or yahoo?"

tonalc1 replied: "Caffeine is found naturally in the cocoa bean. Any product made with cocoa will have caffeine. However, a chocolate bar only has about 6 mgs of caffeine, as compared with 150 in a cup of coffee."

lisa g replied: "Not for a while...lol.... Lollipops Hubba Bubba chocolate cherry bon bons wax lips"

Mako replied: "Lollipops Hubba Bubba Marshmallows Jolly Ranchers"

Megan C replied: "Never and your eyeballs will dry up and go crispy and then disintergrate. Popsicles hubba bubba bon bons wax lips"

Drippy Dick replied: "<<<<<-----lollipops dear... ;-)"

Why does it seem like I am immune to Caffeine? When I drink coffee or an energy drink in hopes of feeling more awake, I am still tired and don't feel energized at all! I take Iron pills, I am anemic. But NOTHING gives me a "caffeine high" Not candy, coffee, red bull or anything! Is it possible that I am immune to the effects caffeine has on most people?

kiya12bc replied: "If you are anemic you really need to check with your physician and explain that nothing with caffeine helps..they can/will probably give you suggestions etc. Good Luck"

Michael replied: "PPL that are high strung have the opposite effect with caffeine."

ryansvs650 replied: "I have been told that stimulants have a reverse affect on people who have ADD (attention deficit disorder). As a child my parents were told I displayed ADD attributes and to this day caffeine seems to have an opposite affect on me. For instance I can literally drink a venti triple shot mocha from Starbucks and take a nap afterward. I usually drink coffee right before I go to bed. Odd!!! :)"

It ends 2night replied: "Possibly......"

swifter25 replied: "the human body isnt ment to handle large amounts of caffene.techanically caffene is a drug (the definition of a drug is anything you put into your body that changes the way you funtion other than food and in no way nurishes your body)and just like any drug you can build up a immunity to it. just like taking advil constantlly every time you get a head ache adventully it will stop working to fix head aches.same thing with cafeene"

wolfpack1jmb replied: "well how much do u drink, u might get a crave for it if u think u have to have one and get headache and if it gets worse and it is pretty much all u drink its and addiction for ex. one of my brothers and my dad drink cokes and sun drop all day(u can only get sun drop in north carolina) and pretty much all i drink is water, gatorade, choco milk, and juice"
